This course introduces students to a number of different approaches to reading the Bible as one big story. By engaging with the best contemporary thinking on biblical interpretation, students will be equipped to critically reflect upon their own lives and ministry practice in light of their place within God’s Story. Along the way, students will explore the backstory to the Bible, learning about how it came to be, in order to gain a greater appreciation for the Christian tradition of seeking God’s voice through reading and applying scripture.
